Jeta Bejtullahu

I help organisations anticipate the narrative of tomorrow and act with courage today - engaging in difficult conversations with kindness and humour. Not to unsettle, but to better understand where differences lie and what bridges may need to built and crossed.

I often joke that I’m a narrative strategist until I find a “real” job. Like art, crafting strategic narratives requires technical skill, creativity, discipline, and intuition. Yet without courage , it can all fall flat.

My mission is to contribute to changing narratives that are keeping us unhappy, at war, and at odds with mother nature.

My work narrative is woven from experiences as a non-profit leader in post-war Kosovo, a creative storyteller and photographer in New York, an experiential marketing creative in Vienna and Geneva, and a communications strategist in Brighton (UK) and Brussels.

I am fluent in English, Albanian, and Serbian and also speak French and Spanish. My body speaks and dances the Blues.

LAST KIND WORDS

My mama told me, just before she died
Lord, precious daughter, don’t you be so wild
— Geeshie Wiley

Last Kind Words Blues more commonly known as Last Kind Words is a blues song written by Geeshie Wiley in 1930. It is among the few songs that survived from the pre-blues music era which paved the way for the Blues divas like Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, and Billie Holliday.

DREAM it

Geeshie came to me in a dream with this song. I had never heard the song before. Nor had any of my fellow blues dancers. It is one of my saddest, poignant, yet borderline surreal life stories. As a storyteller, it remains a personal challenge to write it properly.

LIVE it

Following intuition, I named my company Last Kind Words. Years later, the name fits like a glove. I now inspire clients to build bolder narratives and communicate like those were their Last Kind Words on earth. With kindness, courage, and purpose.
